We have worked with the owners of this beautiful Federation home over many years, refreshing and adapting rooms as their family needs changed. It was time to re-design the kitchen and family dining area, re-purpose the billiard room as a playroom for grandchildren and refresh the master bedroom.
The brief for the kitchen was – to integrate it with the family room making a more sociable and accessible space; incorporate a casual eating bench and create more storage, larger refrigeration and new appliances in a contemporary design.
We designed it with a distinct aesthetic. The interplay of a well-curated palette of finishes – customised and balanced – creates a strong contemporary statement whilst acknowledging its traditional context. It’s a warm and inviting workspace that is functional and comfortable, where the ‘chef’ is appreciated and part of family interaction.
