The renovations and new additions to this heritage listed late Federation home are respectful of the original architecture and carefully transition to the new contemporary spaces. Throughout the process from planning to completion we worked through the complexities of respecting the original while introducing and transitioning the new, within the framework of the design intent.
A creative strategy in adaptive re-use of dated formal rooms into vibrant playful family spaces, which reflect the personalities of the owners, has revitalised the front of the house. The palette of materials and sympathetic design has created a fresh and crisp interior with subtle layers of detail compatible with contemporary lifestyle.
