This home new home in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs was designed with a capacity for the living spaces to be open, cohesive and connected or divided into private intimate rooms. Doors disappear entirely into cavities changing the spacial arrangements and revealing new rooms and aspects, thereby altering the hierarchy of space. The intricately designed ‘box’ in the centre forms a transitional space through which the house reveals itself, doubling as a ‘container’ for the back of house facilities.
